It’s a wrap: this week’s celebrity home swaps

If any other billionaire bought themselves a house with a 56-foot long wine cellar, we would roll our eyes. But seeing as this particular billionaire is none other than Oprah Winfrey, America’s queen, we can only wish her all the mazel in the world! Winfrey just closed on this (slightly) absurd home in Mountain Village in Telluride for $13.75 million, after buying 60 acres of property nearby last year for $10.95 million.

Cottages overlooking the ocean on this sprawling Long Island estate served as Andy Warhol’s favorite fishing escape. Nah, just kidding. A bunch of rich and famous people visited the artist here. And now the Warhol relic has again changed hands: Theartist’s former Montauk estate sold this week for $50 million.

A penthouse formerly owned by actress Mary-Louise Parker – best known for her time on the Showtime series “Weeds” – just sold at a sizable loss. Parker sold the 3,000-square-foot Greenwich Village co-op, at 32 Washington Square West, to buyers Charles O’Kelley and Elizabeth Rovere for $7.45 million in 2013, though that was only after Parker had a difficult time offloading the property.

Talk about boxing out. Former NBA player and current Columbia University sociology student Troy Murphy is looking to find a renter to take his funky Astor Place apartment. The 6-foot-11 ex-power forward has listed his sleek two-bedroom, two-bathroom co-opunit at Charles Gawthmey and Robert Siegel’s 445 Lafayette Street for $14,500 a month.

Television court show star Judith “Judge Judy” Sheindlin and her husband paid $8.6 million for a mansion in Naples and listed a condo there for sale with an asking price of $11 million. Sheindlin, star of the “Judge Judy” reality TV show, and her husband, Jerry Sheindlin, listed for sale their 8,550-square-foot penthouse at a waterfront high-rise on the Gulf of Mexico. The couple bought the penthouse unit for $6.9 million in 2005.

Remember when Anne Hathaway was dating convicted fraudster Raffaello Follieri? You can now rent the apartment the former couple lived in together for $59,500-a-month in midtown on Fifth Avenue.

An apartment formerly owned by the notoriously reclusive model and it-girl Agyness Deyn has sold for $3.1 million. It is in Williamsburg (where else?) and has been significantly re-worked since the days when she had it decorated in a “Little Mermaid” style.
